MY LIVERPOOL

Welcome to 'MY LIVERPOOL' an independent website created by myself purely for nostalgic purposes. 'MY LIVERPOOL' has been online for in excess of two years now and regular visitors will notice that as my expertise in web design has evolved so has the site.

Aligned to the website is the MY LIVERPOOL FORUM, which initially started as an simple online forum to enable visitors to the site to discuss topics with other visitors to the site. The forum over this time has also evolved from a simple online forum, to a much more complex and rich in features active forum, with a growing membership of over 800 members to date. Membership is free and requires a simple registration process to enable you to participate in all forum events and to view the many pictures of bygone days.

Recently I have added Google Adsense (Adverts) within the site and a MY LIVERPOOL shopping mall, where visitors to the site can purchase Liverpool focused items, hopefully this will provide a small income to enable me to further evolve the site and add new features. Hopefully viewers to the site wont find the adverts to obtrusive and support MY LIVERPOOL by purchasing direct from the site.

If you presently live in Liverpool or are an ex-pat or have connections with the city, I'm pretty sure you will find something of interest within both the site and the forums. I would appreciate if visitors could give a little of their time and leave feedback in the guestbook, so I can continue to evolve the site and hopefully make it an enjoyable and informative experience for all.

A big thank you to Mr Dave Rogers who has kindly given me permission to publish his photographs of the Rice Lane area pictured in the fifties and sixties, a great collection which can be viewed via the menu to your right. Once again thanks Dave from all MY LIVERPOOL viewers.
