In August 2007, I went for a walk around the places  I grew up and took some photographs, I have put the photographs to music and produced this video which may be of interest to some

Anfield & Walton

(please be patient whilst the movie loads)

Prior to Christmas I made this Video of Liverpool in the Fifties and Sixties and posted it on another Liverpool Forum, I was informed that I had breached copyright by using pictures that did not belong to me, hence I removed it immediately, I have since been told that pictures over fifty years old do not have copyright, so here it is again for your enjoyment

OUR KID

Our Kid were on the verge of making it big in 1976, before Liverpool Education deemed it illegal for them to perform, hence their career ended before it had really begun. Terry Baccino was a big friend of mine during this period, whom I sadly lost touch with after leaving Alsop Comprehensive. Imagine my surprise when watching TV in 2008 this film was aired about Our Kid. Although it was never mentioned in the film I am led to believe that lead singer Kevin is now resident in Australia.

BYGONE ANFIELD & WALTON

Click on the picture to watch a movie I have recently compiled depicting both the Anfield and Walton areas of Liverpool. Showing scenes from approx 1939 through to about 1965, it shows such areas as Robson Street, Heyworth Street, Walton Breck Road and many more. I have hosted it on me.com to ensure that no clarity is lost upon upload, however you do need to wait a short time for the movie to load, but the wait is well worth it as the quality and clarity are superb. I hope you enjoy.
